Nani's Bakery began in a small Istanbul courtyard kitchen, where recipes were passed down by hand — no measuring cups, just instinct and family memory.
Where it began
Our founder's grandmother, Nani, taught her daughters to bake before they could read — measuring flour by feel, syrup by sound, dough by touch. Those lessons crossed an ocean and became this bakery.
We import our sesame, pistachio, and rosewater from trusted growers in Turkey, and bake everything fresh, in small batches, every single day.
Our Journey
Nani opens a small courtyard kitchen, baking for the neighborhood.
Her daughters learn every recipe by hand, no written measurements.
The family relocates to the Pacific Northwest, bringing the ovens with them.
Nani's Bakery & Café welcomes the neighborhood, one fresh bake at a time.
What We Believe In
No shortcuts, no substitutions — recipes stay true to how they were taught to us.
Our café is built for lingering — coffee, conversation, and a warm welcome for everyone.
Small batches, fresh daily — never mass-produced, never sitting under a heat lamp.
